I’ve been participating in Grace’s movement classes regularly for a couple of years and really appreciate the way that she holds space for so many different types of experiences and bodies in the room, making yoga and movement accessible to as many people as possible. Whether it’s in a yoga studio or virtually in Zoom, Grace’s natural warmth and authenticity always seem to brighten my day and remind me of our collective “humanness”. Rather than focussing on perfecting asanas or pushing through repeated rounds of sun salutations, Grace encourages me to observe what I am feeling and to respect my body’s evolving boundaries and needs, whilst at the same time allowing room to challenge myself and explore both what is inside in me and the space around me. Her dynamic explorative (and for me sometimes even transformative) flows mean there is usually plenty of space for observation (and also for observing the awareness!), as well as the chance to occasionally sweat and get out of breath. On top of all this, I really value the way that Grace has built up a diverse community of people coming regularly to her classes, cultivating a sense of togetherness, but at the same time always warmly welcoming newcomers and ensuring everyone feels at ease.

Grace, helping me realise my full potential as a quadrapus since 2019. While profound and firm, Grace’s Embodiment and Awareness [Yoga] classes shine with simple clarity. No barrier to entry here, but movement and oral tradition for all.

Each class rewards me with newfound awareness of my mind, posture, skin, fascia, muscles, cartilage, organs and bones. In this space, I carve out a holistic map of my self and my organism.

As soon as I met Grace, I loved her energy. The way she greeted everyone in the class and cared for them whilst teaching a kick ass class in a fitness space was a breath of fresh air. As a fellow movement facilitator, I have a tremendous amount of respect for Grace in the way that she carries herself inside and outside of the studio. There are few instructors that are able to balance playfulness alongside serious consideration of the role we, as humans, have in this world. Grace does that well and I am grateful for walking into that barre class on that day.

As a teacher myself I know a good teacher when I work with them. Grace is an excellent teacher with knowledge, skill and experience behind her. Her calm, quiet and gentle manner relaxes the client so they can get the best out of each session.
Grace is a talented teacher where she is able to teach a whole class and pay attention to the little details that allow the deepening of each movement for each individual. I have had the fortune to have Grace teach me individually to help me extend the movement with hips and hip flexors so making my horse riding experiences more pleasurable. It is a work in progress but each day I have straightness, extended movements and a happier body. Thanks Grace. Keep going and lots of love.

Grace is a wonderful human being. She opened up the world of dragon dance for me and teaches how to balance community and the ego with movement, repetition and diving into one’s self.
